A Bit About Me
Gabrielle Thomas is a London-based photographer specialising in event, studio, and portraiture photography. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Commercial Photography at the University of the Arts London, Thomas brings both technical expertise and an innate passion for storytelling to every project. With a diverse portfolio that spans from high-profile events to intimate studio shoots, Thomas captures moments that transcend the ordinary, focusing on the emotional depth and narrative of her subjects.
Her experience encompasses a wide range of event photography, including weddings, corporate functions, and high-end parties. Notable clients include global brands and prestigious events such as Burberry, Hearst, the BAFTAs, GQ, and the BRIT Awards. Thomas’ ability to adapt her photographic style to different environments has earned her recognition for her professionalism, creativity, and ability to capture the essence of each event.
One of Thomas' most cherished projects was her work for Maharlika, a creative organisation dedicated to celebrating Filipino-British artists. This project resonated deeply with her, as it aligned with her commitment to highlighting the power of community, solidarity, and cultural representation through her lens.
Thomas is particularly drawn to projects that focus on emotional expression and storytelling. She strives to capture the raw, unspoken moments that define the human experience, and her work continues to evolve as she pushes the boundaries of both technique and concept. Looking forward, Thomas aims to further diversify her portfolio, continuing to explore new creative avenues while honing her craft in both commercial and artistic photography.
